Porlammi Dairy is the only cheese factory operating in Southern Finland.
Porlammi Dairy was founded in 1914. There are 10 milk producers and the company employs 27 people.
In 2019, the amount of milk received was 5.1 million liters. The main products are Emmental cheese, grated cheese, sliced cheese and processed cheese.
Porlammi Dairy sells its products to the retail trade, the catering sector and the food industry. Porlammi Dairy has been making Emmental cheese since the dairy was founded.
It is the only remaining cheese factory in Southern Finland. Porlammi’s black-labeled Emmental cheese and vegan cheeses have achieved a considerable market share in Finland and are also exported abroad.
