										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Porlammi Cooperative Dairy has decided to separate cheese production and marketing into its wholly owned subsidiary, Porlammi Dairy Ltd. The subsidiary, Porlammi Dairy Ltd., began operations on June 30, 2016, when the cheese business was transferred to the company. This incorporation aims to address market challenges and improve the ability to offer and develop products and services in the cheese business.<br />Porlammi Cooperative Dairy owns 100% of the shares in Porlammi Dairy Ltd. The cheese business remains an essential part of the Porlammi Cooperative Dairy Group. After the restructuring, the cheese business will operate under the name Porlammi Dairy Ltd., but the products and brands will not change.<br />Porlammi Cooperative Dairy now owns 100% of the shares in the newly established Porlammi Dairy Ltd., but this incorporation also allows for future partnerships and the inclusion of other shareholders. The cheese business is expected to grow significantly, and having multiple owners will allow for larger resources to develop the business further.<br />The CEO of Porlammi Cooperative Dairy, Kari Ollikainen, also serves as the CEO of Porlammi Dairy Ltd.<br />The new company, Porlammi Dairy Ltd., will also continue to manage the logistics and rental operations of Porlammi Cooperative Dairy.</p>

<p>In 2016, Porlammi Dairy launched new, fully dairy-free, plant-based fat products that can be used like cheese. The product family has now expanded to include Vege Plus cheese, which is even tastier and contains important nutrients like protein, calcium, and vitamins B12 and D, based on customer requests. Vege Plus plant-based product is a delicious, dairy-free alternative to cheese. It is available in block form, pre-sliced, and grated.</p>
